Valhalla Private Capital (VPC) is thrilled to announce that Mike Ducker is joining our team.
Mike’s role is to lead the Valhalla Global Accelerator and grow the brand and the business of VPC with a focus on emerging markets. Mike will develop relationships to support the growth of the business of the Company of VPC. These activities will include identifying potential LP investors for VPC’s funds and making referrals of potential LP investors to VPC. Take a lead role in Business Development activities of the project, programs, and services of the global accelerator and global VPC funds.
Over the last 15 years, Mike Ducker has been promoting entrepreneurship in 20 countries by designing, leading, and advising donor-funded programs that support startups. These programs include developing entrepreneur white papers for heads of state, designing programs for donors like USAID, the Swiss Government, and World Bank, developing startup training programs, and building networks of support around investment and mentorship. He has advised and supported over 50 entrepreneurship support organizations on both their programming needs and how to become financially sustainable. These programs have helped to catalyze and facilitate thousands of successful business people to become mentors to entrepreneurs. Mike has successfully designed and managed programs that have brought in new forms of financing to entrepreneurs including debt, angel investment and venture capital. His writing around entreprenurship and investment has been published in media outlets like TechCrunch, Inc, the Kauffman Foundation Inc. links and many others. Mike is currently writing a book about catalyzers of local economic growth and has finished 7 marathons, 2 triathlons and summited Mt. Kilimanjaro.
