Valhalla Private Capital’s Alberta chapter presidents Marco Donadeo and Mark Mitchell have been announced as mentors at Alberta IoT’s upcoming Investor Readiness Workshop.
Taking place in Calgary’s cSPACE King Edward on 14 July, the half-day event is set to cover “the fundamentals of capital raise”, with topics including deal structuring and valuation, due diligence and pitching.
All attendees will also receive an opportunity to carry out a five-minute pitch in the company of investment and entrepreneurial experts, with direct feedback and questions in light of the workshop’s insights.
Mark and Marco will be joined by John Daugela, CEO of Pure Vertical; Neeraj Gupta, chief strategy officer at Attabotics; Wilson Acton, managing partner at Tall Grass Ventures; James Freeman, P.Eng. MBA FRCGS, senior vice president of digital strategy at Westgen Technologies Inc.; and Hamish Knox, president of Sandler Training Company.
The workshop is followed by a rootin’ tootin’ social to match this month’s cowboy-centric festivities - the Alberta IoT Stampede Stomp.
